Our Second Post!

It's coming right along. I'm sitting at my desk with Raspy on my lap this chilly Janaury Thursday night to try to share the latest update at the Mix and Match STL booth at General Grant Antique Mall. My mom and I put alot of work into the booth this past Monday for a reorganization and introduction of new items.

I promise to get better at photography and highlighting new items. If you knew my true photo talent, or lack thereof, you would appreciate what I've done here.

I've added a couple of vintage Viking glass pieces. I think the color is called "Bluenique".  You can't see it from afar, but it's in the first picture, next to the carnival glass egg platter.

This is the view when you're walking down the first aisle at General Grant Antique Mall.

Can you spot the Viking Bluenique pieces?
 This is the other wall.
Pretty much all the pieces on this side are new. The desk/ dressing table is painted in Annie Sloan Old White Chalk Paint, highlighted with the color Paloma (also the same color that the shelf in the above picture is painted. I'll admit that it's one of my favorite colors. It's so damn pretty. and versatile. Hard to believe, but I think it's pretty neutral. Goes with pretty much any color scheme.

Funny, this picture is supposed to highlight the desk, but the Mr/Mrs Tea towels really stand out.
Can you spot the mirror?
I painted that with Annie Sloan Primer Red, and used dark wax. This picture does not capture how awesome it turned out. I totally want the mirror for my house. just a kick of color.
